Storm like father calm sheep like Mother

                                                           …

                                                  MY MOTHER MY HERO

My mother is the hero in my life (great book here) because she showed strength in the quietest and most difficult ways. She may seem like a sheep but she knows how to get along and never divorced dad. She tolerated challenges that many people would not have endured, especially in her marriage to my father, whose strong personality often filled every room. While he could be demanding and self-focused, my mother carried the emotional weight of the family with patience and dignity. She rarely complained and instead chose peace, stability, and love, even when it required great personal sacrifice. Watching her remain steady under pressure taught me that true heroism does not need applause; it lives in endurance, grace, and unwavering commitment.

                                             MY FATHER HIS PAIN

My father, despite his flaws, was also an important influence in my life. He was a good and generous man and a devoted father, even though his physical limitations and laziness often placed extra burdens on others. He relied heavily on those around him, sometimes asking people to bring him food or objects rather than getting up himself. Still, he possessed a strong presence and confidence that left a lasting impression on me. Today, he is still alive at eighty-four years old, sharing a birthday with me, as I turn fifty-seven—a reminder of time, resilience, and the complexity of family bonds.

From my mother, I learned how to remain calm, kind, and generous even when circumstances are unfair. She modeled compassion without weakness and patience without surrender. Her ability to respond with understanding instead of anger shaped the way I treat others and handle conflict. She taught me that kindness is a choice, especially when it is hardest to give. Because of her, I value empathy, emotional control, and generosity, and I strive to bring those qualities into every relationship in my life.

From my father, I learned how to be strong and confident, but I also learned the dangers of being overly strong. His example showed me that confidence can become rigidity if it is not balanced with humility. As a result, I sometimes respond too forcefully when I feel disrespected or mistreated. Recognizing this has helped me grow. I now understand that my parents gave me different lessons, and it is my responsibility to combine the best of both: my mother’s calm strength and my father’s bold confidence. Together, those lessons continue to shape who I am and who I am still becoming. I wrote a but about that in my article om confidence and self respect and martial arts here.

I read many books over the years to learn how to gain confidence especially because most of my life I used to blush easily and often over things so mild. This book can be a way to learn more of that.

What I have done is find supplements to help myself and others to let life roll off their back, lithium orotate is what I use and what I recommend to friends and clients. Most people feel good and report lithium orotate brings back a calmer mood, deep emotional balance, deeper stress resilience, can be taken with each meal.

Reviewers online say they have the feeling more and more each day of being so relaxed, focused, more even-tempered without the problematic sedating effects associated with stronger Pharma meds or supplements. Many mention benefits of great sleep quality, reduced bitchiness and irritability, often noting lithium orotate feels gentle yet super effective for everyday mental well-being. Experiences of course will vary, but overall feedback from my clients and online highlights its ease of use and subtle, steady support. Here is how to buy it from me.
