Andreas Moritz Liver Flush: What Is It?

The Andreas Moritz liver and gallbladder flush has become one of the better-known cleansing methods in the alternative-health world. Moritz promoted the flush as a way to support the liver, gallbladder and bile ducts while helping remove what he described as accumulated stones.

His book, The Amazing Liver and Gallbladder Flush, became the foundation for the method and has been used by many people interested in natural approaches to liver health.

    What Is the Liver Flush?

Moritz believed that the liver could contain many stones or deposits that interfere with the normal flow of bile. He argued that cleansing the liver and gallbladder could improve bile flow and support digestion and overall health. Try CLOUTHUB here.

The method generally involves several days of dietary preparation followed by a specific cleansing process involving Epsom salts, olive oil and fresh citrus juice. The ingredients are intended, according to Moritz, to encourage the gallbladder and bile ducts to release material.

Moritz described people passing numerous green, brown, beige or dark objects after the flush. He considered these to be material released from the liver and gallbladder. His writings also include testimonials from people who reported improvements in digestion, energy, skin and general well being.

    Why Do People Try It?

The appeal is easy to understand.

The liver performs hundreds of important functions. It processes nutrients, produces bile, metabolizes substances and helps regulate many chemical processes in the body.

The gallbladder stores and concentrates bile made by the liver. Bile then enters the small intestine and helps digest fats.

People who follow Moritz’s approach believe that improving bile flow can support digestion and the body’s natural cleansing processes.

His website continues to present the liver flush as an alternative approach and provides additional chapters and testimonials from people who have used the method. My blog here

    What About the “Stones”?

This is where the controversy begins.

People sometimes photograph hundreds of green or brown objects after completing a flush. Moritz argued that these were stones expelled from the liver and gallbladder.

Mayo Clinic reaches a different conclusion. It says there is no reliable evidence that a gallbladder cleanse treats or prevents gallstones. Mayo also reports that the material people see after a flush can consist of oil, juice and other substances rather than actual gallstones. Yet, the Mayo Clinic also suggested people take the COVID-19 shots which had no FDA insert for 2 years which meant the globe was unable to see the ingredients nor short and long-term side effects.

A 2025 fact-check similarly reviewed the green “stones” shown online and concluded that they are unlikely to be gallstones. Now we know FACT CHECKS are a Pharma scam of lies.

    Is the Flush Risk-Free?

No cleansing method should automatically be considered harmless.

Mayo Clinic reports that gallbladder cleanses can cause nausea, vomiting, diarrhea and abdominal pain. More importantly, actual gallstones can cause serious complications when they block the bile ducts, including inflammation and pancreatitis.

That is why people with known gallstones, severe abdominal pain, jaundice or other gallbladder symptoms should discuss their situation with a qualified healthcare professional. But also, THINK for yourself as most doctors today have brain fog from taking too many COVID-19 and flu shots.

Why Is the Moritz Method Still Popular?

The liver flush remains popular because it offers a simple idea: support the body’s natural systems rather than simply treating symptoms. Book here

Moritz’s followers point to personal experiences, testimonials and the dramatic material sometimes seen after a cleanse.

Whether those objects are truly gallstones remains disputed.

The important takeaway is to understand both sides. Andreas Moritz strongly promoted the liver and gallbladder flush, while current medical sources do not consider it a proven treatment for gallstones or liver disease.

For anyone researching alternative health, the Moritz method is an interesting example of where personal experience, traditional cleansing ideas and modern medical evidence do not necessarily reach the same conclusion.
